An AV2 cultivar Darjeeling Second Flush Black Tea, SMOKED over burning pinewood – made in the lapsang style. We carefully choose the word “style” to avoid direct comparisons with the chinese lapsang souchang. This is an extremely good quality second flush black tea, smoked to tweak the flavor profile in a different way form the usual Darjeeling style giving it a very different and interesting flavour profile.

Sweet – smoky – fruity with a honey like finish. A distinctive pine resin aroma from the smoke accompanied by the muscatel flavour. The brew is bright red and intense enough to keep you coming back for more.

Brewing instruction – 2.5gms of tea with 200ml.of water at 90 degrees Celsius steeped for 3min.
